I love an outfit of neutrals (ie. gray, nude, tan, brown, cream) that is punctuated by a brightly hued statement piece! In this case, ruby lips! Splashes of gold accessories, and subtle slivers of skin peaking out make an otherwise tame outfit a lot more fun and a bit more sexy.

ParTEA Time!

Traditionally holiday dresses are limited to a few moody hues, and while I love the drama of red, black, silver and gold, I also love pushing the limits of what's expected in fashion.  This uber girly look is perfect for a tea party, but totally fresh and completely unexpected for a holiday cocktail party!

Rain or Shine

I love this time of year because the endless holiday party evites mean lots of chances to get all dolled up! The rain helped to inspire this cozy holiday cocktail ensemble. A stormy-hued metallic dress, opaque tights, patent heels and oversized fur create a mix of textures that is festive, despite the gloomy weather. I finished with a fuss-free bun, winged eyeliner and subtle pink-hued cheeks, shadow and gloss. Et voilà--I'm fit to fête!
